A young entrepreneur of young India, 29-year-old, Sachin Mitruka conceptualized Navvayd to bridge the gap between the availability of good quality tea and affordable prices. Sachin belongs to a family which not only drinks but lives, breathes and sleeps tea! Tea is in his gene as he is the third generation of a family which has been in the tea business for decades. After completing his post graduation in Marketing & Operations, Sachin joined his family business which took him to his tea garden. These experiences enabled him to get up close with the tea growing process, the science and art behind it. It is here that he fell for his passion! At a very young age, he set up his own green tea manufacturing unit in the Darjeeling foothills.
A tea taster himself, Sachin loves to explore different cuisines and pair them with teas. He also has a fetish for the latest technologies. His passion backed by his interest in the digital world helped him conceptualize Navvayd! He was motivated to bring a disruption in the tea drinking patterns of the country and the world at large. Through the digital platform – Navvayd – people from every corner of the globe can access the best teas of India.
